Newark away and we didnt have a very good start Neil Davey drove to the ramp outside the ground and then drove to the castle and phoned saying he was lost Bozo. That got worse when in the first over Malc set off for a run having hit the ball to an invisible fielder who suddenly beamed back - Jake turned his back on Malc who also turned and went a couple of paces back but then came back to see us. In went Mark to bat with Jake and they put on 121 for the secon wicket including Mark being bowled off a no ball which hit him and rolled onto his stumps. The skipper had already called a no ball much to the distress of Newark. Mark then hit the next two balls for boundaries. Jake was then out for 41 and in went Jimmy for a couple of balls and then back went Jimmy. To bring a certain Ali Hall to the wicket who didnt take a gard until the third over of facing. by which time he was 20 plus and Mark Fish was giving him the strike. Ali made a very quick 46 and we scored a total of 260 with Coles and Foulkes batting resposibly at the end.
We dismissed the opposition for 133 with Ed taking 3 for 25 Dick 3 for 14 and Kyle 2 for 46
A nice victory
