Another defeat but a much better performance. Batting first we scored 131 which was a better score than it seems,the wicket was very slow and the ball kept very low. However 5 ducks didn't help our cause also Dave Hedge,myself and Andy Laugton with scores of 42, 37, 19, needed to go on and make big scores after looking at ease. Long Eaton made light work of the chase reaching the total in 30 overs. Andy Laughton 2 for 17 from 10 overs was a great effort and with a little more luck early on, the game was there for the taking.
C.C this week is Dave Hedge. I thought if you won it this week then maybe next week everything will go as planned Dave. All the best from all the team to you both.
